Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a natural occurring cannabinoid from a long list of hundreds of useful cannabinoids found in hemp. CBD is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in hemp, being rivaled only by its twin brother THC. Unlike delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, or more widely known as THC, CBD is non-psychotic and does not have mind-altering properties, therefore can be safely used for social environments for therapeutic or medicinal purposes. Even more, CBD tends to counteract THC psychotic effect. CBD can be consumed in a number of different forms, one of the most prevalent ones being CBD oil. CBD oil is derived from cannabis plant, which is an umbrella term for both the industrial hemp plant as well as the marijuana plant. The source of the CBD oil indicates the potential content of THC as well as across number of countries defines legality of the respective CBD oil products. While industrial hemp derived CBD oil has little to no THC content (at most it can contain 0.03%), marijuana derived CBD oil might contain excessive THC quantities. The latter usually requires medical prescription or tends to be banned entirely. We manufacture our CBD products from CBD-rich industrial hemp, also called CBD hemp oil. We offer both isolated CBD hemp-derived oil as well as whole cannabis plant extract oil containing more cannabinoids than just CBD. It is important to note that CBD oil is different from hemp seed oil and organic hemp oil, as these are derived from hemp seeds (not the resin) and do not contain cannabidiol.
