What is Cannabidiol (DBD)?

Cannabidiol, or CBD for short, is a natural occurring cannabinoid from a long list of hundreds of useful cannabinoids found in hemp. CBD is one of the most abundant cannabinoids in hemp, being rivaled only by its twin brother THC. Unlike delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, or more widely known as THC, CBD is non-psychotic and does not have mind-altering properties, therefore can be safely used for social environments for therapeutic or medicinal purposes. Even more, CBD tends to counteract THC psychotic effect. CBD can be consumed in a number of different forms, one of the most prevalent ones being CBD oil. CBD oil is derived from cannabis plant, which is an umbrella term for both the industrial hemp plant as well as the marijuana plant. The source of the CBD oil indicates the potential content of THC as well as across number of countries defines legality of the respective CBD oil products. While industrial hemp derived CBD oil has little to no THC content (at most it can contain 0.03%), marijuana derived CBD oil might contain excessive THC quantities. Are Life Link CBD products safe to use? Are they tested for quality, potency and toxicity?

Finally, the products are third-party lab tested to make sure that we are offering only the highest quality CBD products to our customers.

Will CBD make me feel “high”? Is it psychoactive?

No, our products are not psychoactive as they contain no THC. By using CBD Life Link products you will not experience a “high” feeling or other mind-altering effects. The CBD and whole plant cannabis extracts used in our products are derived from industrial hemp and contain zero THC. Additionally, CBD has the property of being anti-psychoactive and counteracting effects of THC.

How does CBD and Endocannabinoid system work? CBD

CBD as a phytocannabinoid, or a natural plant-based cannabinoid, is much easier accepted by your body than synthetic substances and tends to be better supplement for your body. CBD interacts with your body through your internal endocannabinoid system. The system plays a crucial role on pain, inflammation, memory, emotion, sleep and metabolic function. The system can be likened to a thermometer making sure that there is a specific level of endocannabinoids in your system. As your body naturally produced cannabinoids, known as endocannabinoids, endocannabinoid deficiency in your body, scientists believe, can be addressed using CBD products. As your endocanabinoid system stretches across your whole body, starting from your skin and reaching as far as your brain, it is not a surprise that CBD products can help people with a wide range of ailments. The key effects of CBD are:

Is CBD legal?

In the USA, CBD products derived from non-psychoactive parts of the cannabis plant are legal in all 50 states as long as the industrial hemp used in the process is grown and cultivated pursuant to an agricultural pilot program authorized under the Farm Bill. CBD Life LInk products are made from USA grown industrial hemp farms registered with the agricultural pilot program following all the state laws. However, the discussions between federal and state authorities will persist as the Farm Bill under which states can create their own pilot
program regulations for hemp derived products will continue to be challenged by DEA until there is a federal law legislating hemp production. For international customers, make sure to check with the relevant authorities or agencies for local regulations on CBD or industrial hemp extracts.

What is the difference between THC and CBD?

Both compounds are one of hundreds of cannabinoids found in hemp. THC is a psychoactive compound, but CBD is non-psychoactive

Will it interact with other medications?

Always consult with your doctor before taking any new product as it might interact with your medication. At this stage, there are no studies showing the that there are any drug interactions using CBD and other drugs.

Where do you get your Hemp from?

All of our products are made from non-GMO, pesticide free, industrial hemp grown in Kentucky, Colorado, North Carolina USA.

Do I need a medical card to buy this product?

No, you don’t need a medical prescription to buy our products. FDA, short for the Food and Drug Administration, is treating CBD products are dietary supplements. Therefore, there is no need to obtain a doctor’s recommendation or to live in a medical marijuana state to have our products legally sent to your door.

My credit card was rejected, why?

Banks and payment processors are very reserved towards the CBD industry. As a result, your bank may stop the transaction to us, as a company in the CBD industry. All you have to do is contact your bank and ask them to allow future payments go through, and attempt making the order again. We understand this may come as an inconvenience, but there’s a lot of prejudice regarding CBD that has yet to be overcome.

How much CBD should I take?

Each of our products has a recommended dosage printed on the label. Should you want to exceed the the recommended dose, we advise you to consult your doctor before doing so.

What is the extraction process for CBD Life Link?

All of our products are extracted in a laboratory by our carefully trained experts, and are free of any residual solvents which results in the purest oil possible. How potent are your products?

With the potency as high as 2500mg. per 1oz bottle, our concentrated, CBD oils have almost 8x the cannabidiol concentration than other brands. You have a choice depending on our supply of 750mg, 1000mg, 1500mg, 2500mg and Full Spectrum CDB oil.

Is CBD oil good for my illness or special condition?

A large number of people have found CBD products helpful with their ailments, including arthritis, particularly rheumatoid arthritis, join pain, brain function, and pain disorders.  That being said, we cannot give medical advice and you should always refer to your licensed medical practitioner as per FDA requirements. Does CBD show up on a drug test? Will I test positive for cannabis if I use CBD products?

Drug testing has become reality for many employers and employees. Most prevalent workplace drug tests screen for THC (delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol) content in your body and testing positive in those tests may have serious repercussions. Our products, like other CBD products across the industry, contain no or almost untraceable amounts of THC. However, studies have shown that even eating foods containing hemp (seeds, oil, etc.) can result in positive results for THC, depending on the sensitivity of the test. If you are or are likely to be subject to any form of drug testing,  we recommend that you talk with whomever may be testing you prior to using any hemp-derived products and let them know you are taking CBD oil which is legal in all 50 states.
